We offer two dance sessions; our Fall/Spring session and our Summer session. The Fall/Spring session is a 30-week program and runs from the first full week after Labor Day through early May, culminating with our annual recital, "Spring Celebration of Dance". Our classes are designed for the student who begins in September and continues through the school year. Classes may be entered, on a space available basis, through about the end of October.
Our summer session includes a one-week dance camp, a six-week traditional dance program and a focus session on Strength/Flexibility during mid-August.
TUITION: For the Fall/Spring session tuition is based on a 30 week schedule excluding vacation weeks and holidays. Tuition payments are due the first week of classes in September and January. There is a discount for paying in full in September. There are no refunds for missed classes or dropping during the session. Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Consistent delinquent payments on accounts may result in the suspension of that student's participation in class.
- No student will participate in the spring recital until all tuition and late fees are received and cleared.
- No costumes will be ordered without full payment received.
- If needed, please call the studio to arrange an alternative payment plan. We do not want to deny any student the opportunity to dance if a viable solution is available.
RECITALS: All students registered in performance classes participate in our annual Spring Celebration of Dance. Students will need to purchase a costume (please see costume section below). Our recitals are typically held the 3rd weekend of May at the Meyer Theatre in downtown Green Bay. We have five (5) performances during the weekend. Parents receive detailed information regarding your child's dress rehearsal day and in which recital(s) he or she will be performing in. Dress rehearsal's are held on the Tuesday and Wednesday evening prior to the recitals. Tickets for the shows are sold through Ticket Star at the Resch Center or by calling 494-3401 or 1-800-895-0071 or online at www.meyertheatre.org. Tickets normally go on sale about six-weeks prior to the shows.
COSTUMES FOR RECITAL: We normally order costumes the last full week before Thanksgiving. Costumes are ordered during your child's scheduled class time. Each student must have one parent present to order the costume; students do not dance that week. The costumes have been selected and an image of the costume will be available. Using the measuring guide you will have received, we will need your dancer's measurements and full payment for the costume. For combination classes, each student orders one costume and uses it for both their tap and jazz or ballet routine. Ballet only students order one costume for their routine.
CLASS OBSERVATION: Parents may observe their child's dance classes twice during the Fall/Spring session. These dates are provided at the beginning of the session. Observing class is not permitted at any other time.
STUDENT CONDUCT: All students are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly manner and with respect for our instructors, student teachers and all other students. If any student acts in a manner that could jeopardize the safety of him/herself or others, that student will be dismissed immediately.
STUDIO POLICIES AND RULES: Dance requires discipline and dedication. We expect both students and parents to respect our policies.
- There are no tuition refunds for absence or withdrawing during the session.
- No food, gum or drink is allowed in the studios! Students are responsible for picking up after themselves anywhere in the facility.
- No smoking on the premises including the parking area.
